Who is illusionist Louis Baerts
I am Louis Baerts, illusionist and magical speaker from Udenhout in the Netherlands. I have been on stage since I was fourteen and turn an evening into a memory.
My first performance was at a children's party at my mother's hairdresser. I was fourteen and earned 25 guilders. Shortly afterwards someone called for the next party. And then someone else.
So it grew by itself. In those early years I did about eighty shows a year. What started as a hobby became my profession, and it has stayed that way.
I work for exhibitors, for companies with something to celebrate and for people throwing a party. The question is always the same: how do you get people to really talk to each other.
CasinoMagic is my own invention. The act runs so well that several illusionists now perform it, at home and abroad.
At every show I give a 100% smile guarantee. That is the agreement, not a slogan on a stamp.
No tricks, but memories
With me it is not about a string of card tricks or a rabbit out of a hat. I take you into the suspense. Ten minutes of carefree laughter, and tomorrow you retell it.
A real connection through wonder
That is my slogan and it is exactly what happens. Wonder opens people up. Whoever was just looking at their phone is laughing a moment later with the stranger next to them.
Corporate and private
At a trade show I bring a full stand and warm leads for your sales team. At a conference I am the magical speaker. At a wedding or party I go from table to table.
Always bespoke
Almost every show I design around your event and your wishes. I work throughout the Netherlands and for trade shows also abroad, together with fellow illusionists who perform my concepts.
What you can expect from me
I read a room and I read a stand. I sense who joins in and who would rather watch, and I gently draw in the latter too.
Member of MagicCare
